It is a desolate job. I have been involved with such organizations that are at the forefront, at the point of need. Some colleagues of mine come back home, desperately needing some debriefing. They simply needed to decompress, so to speak. Some have admitted that the nightmares do not leave their minds for a long time. This is a horrible world.
